The Recording Room has a built-in teleprompter so you can keep your script right in front of you while you record, no second screen or sticky notes needed. This guide walks you through opening it, adding your script, and adjusting the settings so it works at your pace.
Opening the Teleprompter
Once you're inside the Recording Room, look for the teleprompter icon (the document/lines icon) on the far right of the bottom toolbar, next to the Share button. Click it to open the teleprompter.
The teleprompter opens as a banner overlay at the top of your recording room, sitting just above your camera feeds. You'll see a small X badge appear on the toolbar icon to let you know the teleprompter is active.
To close the teleprompter, click the X in the top right corner of the teleprompter bar, or click the teleprompter icon in the toolbar again.
Adding Your Script
Click inside the teleprompter text area and type or paste your script directly. Once your script is loaded, click the Play button (▶) in the teleprompter toolbar to start scrolling.
