Nicolas "Nico" Wiscour-Conter

Hello! I’m Nicolas Wiscour-Conter, I also go by Nico. I recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Animation with Cum Laude Honors. I was born in Luxembourg and grew up in Monaco before moving to the United States at age 13. Growing up, I used any toys and random objects I could get my hands-on to create unique worlds during playtime and then narrating over it to tell various stories. I grew up loving vehicles and machines so I was quickly drawn to animation in high school as it allowed me to combine and connect my passions together. I could create art with vehicles, share it with others and create a connection with them over the artwork. That feeling of connection and belonging is why I love animation and why I chose to pursue it as a career. When making art, I always go into it hoping it can positively impact someone’s day and help make the world advance. I believe that shows and movies can inspire anyone to dream, create, and feel a part of something. If my work can achieve this, then I feel accomplished. In the future, I hope to be able to work on various cinematic projects to help promote that feeling of belonging and connection. I also hope to eventually earn a creative director position in a studio to lead the charge in innovation within the entertainment industry.
