## Key points

- Adobe's AI-first annual recurring revenue surpassed $500 million, tripling year over year.
- The company achieved a record Q2 revenue of $6.62 billion.
- Adobe has updated its full-year revenue guidance following strong financial results.

Adobe's AI monetization crossed a threshold that few enterprise software vendors have reached this quickly. AI-first annualized recurring revenue tripled year over year and surpassed $500 million in the company's second quarter of FY2026, according to Adobe's earnings release published by Business Wire on June 11, 2026. Total revenue for the quarter came in at a record $6.62 billion, up 13% year over year, prompting the company to raise its full-year FY2026 revenue target to a range of $26.50 to $26.60 billion.

The results put hard numbers behind what has largely been qualitative claims about generative AI payoff. For enterprise procurement and IT leaders evaluating whether AI-native platform upgrades justify their price, Adobe's ARR trajectory offers one of the clearest data points yet that creative and marketing professional workloads are converting to AI subscription spend at scale.

## What the numbers mean for operators

Subscription revenue across Adobe's two primary customer groups both grew at double-digit rates in Q2. Business Professionals and Consumers subscription revenue reached $1.85 billion, a 16% year-over-year gain, while Creative and Marketing Professionals subscription revenue hit $4.54 billion, up 13%, per the Business Wire release. Total customer group subscription revenue was $6.39 billion, representing 14% growth.

Total Adobe ARR exiting the quarter stood at $27.10 billion, including approximately $480 million from Semrush, which Adobe acquired earlier this year. Remaining Performance Obligations, a forward-looking indicator of contracted future revenue, were $22.27 billion. Cash flows from operations were $2.17 billion, and Adobe repurchased approximately 8.5 million shares during the quarter.
