Toys R Us is planning to shutter at least another 200 stores and lay off workers and corporate staff alike. The news comes on top of a recent announcement of 170 closures and 4,500 lost jobs. Competition and e-commerce developments from Walmart and Amazon have pushed the former giant to the brink. If the closures go through, Toys R Us would see half the operation it had in September, when it filed for bankruptcy.
