Walmart has already been experimenting with with the practicality of drone delivery for select grocery and household essential items, but has not advanced past the trial stage. Delivering COVID-19 tests is not only a highly relevant need in our society, but would be a big step forward in analyzing the efficiency of drones in deliveries.

The tests will land on the driveway, sidewalk or backyard of the customer’s home, depending on the layout of the area and nearby obstacles like trees, cars or other homes.
