When taking in an event at a venue built in the first century, it is not common to see technology from the 21st.

However, such is the case now at the [Arena of Nimes](https://www.avignon-et-provence.com/en/monuments/arena-nimes), an historic Roman amphitheater in the south of France that is still active today.

New speakers were installed by [Zero-Ohm Systems](https://zohms.com/), a Quebec, Canada-based sound solutions company. These photos were shared by [Global AV Network](http://globalavnetwork.com/) President Baptiste Marmorat. A case study on the project is scheduled to be released soon, according to Marmorat.

Check out the following photos from within the amphitheater to see how Zero-Ohm solutions outfitted the historic artifact with modern technology.
