> RainFocus adds two Adobe Experience Manager integrations to automate session data sync and enforce brand governance across global event programs.

## Key points

- RainFocus integrates with Adobe Experience Manager to automate session data synchronization.
- The integration helps enforce brand governance across global event programs.
- Manual workflows for managing event content are eliminated with these integrations.

RainFocus added two Adobe Experience Manager integrations on July 14, 2026, completing what the company describes as a full event content supply chain that runs from project intake through web publishing without a manual handoff. The new AEM Sites Connector and AEM Content Advisor join the existing Adobe Workfront Fusion integration to cover the three stages where event marketing teams most often hit delays: workflow approval, live site data, and asset governance.

The announcement came from Lindon, Utah-based RainFocus, which the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Event Marketing and Management Platforms named a Leader for the third year running. The platform handles more than 10,000 events annually, according to the company, making the scale of a manual-data problem obvious: session rosters, speaker bios, and exhibitor listings that live only inside RainFocus must reach web teams in near-real time, and brand assets must stay current across every regional variant of every event page.

## What each integration does

The AEM Sites Connector is the most direct fix for a pain point web development teams know well. It pushes RainFocus session, speaker, and exhibitor data directly into AEM Content Fragments, the structured content blocks Adobe Experience Manager uses to feed web pages, so a schedule change in RainFocus propagates to the live site without a developer or coordinator manually re-entering it. Teams can configure updates to run on a set schedule or trigger them manually, according to the PR Newswire release.

The AEM Content Advisor addresses a different bottleneck: finding and using the right version of a brand asset. Marketers working inside RainFocus can open a native modal browser, search the organization's AEM Assets library using natural language descriptions rather than file-naming conventions, and embed approved assets directly into event emails and landing pages. The AI-powered semantic search is the functional differentiator here. A field marketer building a regional event page can describe what they need in plain terms and surface the correct localized kit without digging through folder hierarchies or risking an outdated logo.

> Brand governance at event scale isn't a creative problem, it's a data architecture problem. These integrations treat it as one.

Together, these two connectors close the loop that the Workfront Fusion integration opened. Workfront handles the upstream request-and-approval workflow, automatically creating events in RainFocus from approved project requests. Once an event exists in RainFocus, the Sites Connector keeps the web layer current, and the Content Advisor keeps the creative layer compliant. The intent is that no step in that chain requires a human to copy, paste, or re-upload data.

## The operational case for a closed-loop content supply chain

Field marketing teams running regional event series feel this problem acutely. Localizing an event web page for a new market typically means duplicating work: pulling session data, selecting regional brand assets, getting approvals, and publishing, often with a different person responsible at each step. Multiply that by dozens of field events per quarter and the headcount math becomes unsustainable. RainFocus's stated use case for the Content Advisor is scaling localized event web pages across multiple regions without adding staff.

Large-scale user conferences present a different version of the same issue. Managing thousands of speaker profiles and session updates across a complex web architecture in real time has historically required dedicated web operations resources. The Sites Connector is positioned to absorb that work by keeping AEM automatically synchronized with the RainFocus data layer.

For brand and compliance teams, the governance argument may be even more compelling. The Content Advisor enforces asset currency by surfacing only versions that have been individually approved in AEM Assets, which means outdated logos, pre-rebrand imagery, or unapproved regional variants are structurally excluded from event materials rather than caught after the fact in a review cycle.

## Implementation and enterprise fit

RainFocus positions the integrations as straightforward to deploy. The Sites Connector installs as a connector package inside AEM, authenticates via OAuth, and walks administrators through mapping RainFocus entities to content fragment models. The Content Advisor activates through the RainFocus Integration Suite; individual users then authenticate against their approved AEM Assets scope. Neither integration requires custom development work, according to the release.

The platform already carries ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 Type II compliance across all five trust criteria, which matters when procurement teams evaluate whether a marketing platform can connect to an enterprise DAM without introducing a security gap. The OAuth authentication model for the Sites Connector keeps credentials out of shared configuration files, a detail that information security reviewers typically flag in connector evaluations.

## What this means for your team

- Audit your current event-to-web data flow: if session and speaker updates travel by spreadsheet or email before reaching your CMS, the AEM Sites Connector directly replaces that process. Map the fields you need synced before implementation to accelerate the OAuth setup.
- Evaluate your asset governance gap before the next regional event series: if field teams are selecting assets outside AEM, the Content Advisor's approval-scoped modal browser enforces policy without a separate review step. Confirm which AEM Assets collections need to be individually approved for each user group.
- Check existing Workfront adoption: the three integrations are most powerful as a complete chain. Teams already using Workfront for project intake can extend automation from request approval through live web publishing without adding a separate workflow tool.
- Review security posture for DAM-to-event-platform connectors: the OAuth authentication model and SOC 2 Type II compliance are the relevant evaluation criteria if your InfoSec team needs to sign off on the AEM-RainFocus connection.
