The future security technology might look like your favorite science fiction movie. Security Drone technology is growing everyday making us closer to having our own RoboCops. Mark Schreiber, president and principal consultant of Safeguards Consulting sees the potential in the technology for “unmanned ground vehicles” as he calls them, but realizes that there is still a long way to go. “It will take some time to really get out the different nuggets of value,” says Schreiber. “It’s only the advanced high-tech organizations that are really going to start running with the ball initially.” Hollywood may still have the best Robot Cops but the future may not be so far from our favorite science fiction movies after all.
